The state enterprise Boryspil International Airport is the largest and most powerful in Ukraine. Provides 62% of air passenger traffic in Ukraine, and, according to the results of 2018, provided services to 12.6 million passengers.
Boryspil International Airport is a state-owned commercial enterprise of civil aviation, which is based on state property and is managed by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Due to the active policy of attracting airlines, more than 60 national and foreign airlines fly to the airport on more than 120 routes around the world.
Demand for airport services is supported by a favorable location at the intersection of a number of interstate transport routes (connecting Asia with Europe and America), proximity to the capital, the availability of modern infrastructure and the implementation of a hub development strategy.
