In 2015, Ukraine joined the Chinese initiative “One Belt, One Road”. On 30.11.2016, the State Property Fund held an auction, at which 99.99% of the shares of JSC “UBRR” were purchased by LLC “BOSE (Hong Kong) Co., Limited”. On 17.11.2017, Tianjin “Bohai Commodity Exchange (BOCE)”, the owner of BOCE (Hong Kong) Co., Limited, completed the acquisition of UBRR — the first Ukrainian bank with 100% Chinese capital, approved by the NBU and the National Securities and Markets Commission.
