The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is one of the leading Ukrainian authorities, regulated by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The specifics of the ministry’s work are regulated by a presidential decree issued in 2011.
Today, the ministry directly implements legal policy, deals with the state’s trading system, and provides assistance in bankruptcy processes. He is engaged in office work, insurance documentation, state registration of property rights, civil status, sole proprietorship and legal entity.

The Ministry is engaged in the formation and implementation of the policy in the field of criminal punishments in accordance with the current legislation, monitors the observance of human rights, provides primary and secondary legal aid.
One of the ministry’s spheres of activity is information policy, providing education and raising awareness of the population in the field of law, representing Ukraine as a state in the European Court of Justice, and so on.
The leading link is the Minister of Justice, as well as his first deputy. The ministry also includes deputies for the executive service, the European Court of Justice, digital development and other areas.
