The Institute for potato NAAS of Ukraine is a scientific institution that operates in the agricultural sector. The Institute has the following laboratories: • Laboratory, which studies plant genetic resources. • Laboratory, which studies mechanisms for the protection of plants and their immunity. • Laboratory, which developed biotechnology. • Laboratory of mechanization. • Laboratory, which the Institute has been conducting various marketing research. • Laboratory staff are responsible for scientific and economic studies. This Institute was founded in 1992 and today managed to make a huge contribution to the development of agrarian industry of Ukraine and abroad. The Institute has created a large number of potato varieties that are distinguished by high taste qualities and is resistant to adverse climatic factors. Direction of research work of the Institute involves the creation of new varieties with high qualities, improving the system of seed farming and technology of production and processing of food, as well as the Economics and marketing of culture to meet the needs of consumers. In our days activities presented by the Institute is rapidly developing since the emergence of new technologies, he manages to achieve impressive results in production of different varieties of potatoes.
