Kyiv State Art Lyceum named after T.G. Shevchenko is one of the leading educational institutions in the field of fine arts in Ukraine. For more than 80 years she has brought up more than one generation of future painters, sculptors, graphic artists, architects and other artists. Over the years of its existence, the School, and now the Lyceum, has undergone many structural changes and transformations, but the basic academic training of the highest level has remained unchanged. The lyceum operates under the patronage of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, joining which is the next step in attracting young talents to high art.

The main goal is to ensure the realization of the right to receive a complete general secondary education and profile artistic pre-professional training of creatively gifted children.
