Our main services:
1) Coordination and conduct of rescue archaeological research
We organize and conduct rescue archaeological excavations in areas of active economic activity, ensuring the preservation of cultural heritage sites and accurate recording of finds.

2) Development of regulatory and methodological documents
Our specialists are engaged in the preparation and implementation of regulatory documents and methodological materials in the field of archaeological monument protection. This allows us to ensure that archaeological works comply with modern standards and legislation.

3) Scientific archaeological expertise
We conduct scientific archaeological expertise of construction, reconstruction and land management projects of civil and industrial facilities. Our analysis determines the presence or absence of cultural heritage sites in the area of planned construction and helps avoid violations of the law.

The purpose of the Center’s activities is to carry out research, organizational, coordination and innovative activities in the field of identification, study, protection, restoration, conservation, rehabilitation and museumization of archaeological heritage sites in Ukraine.

- organization and management of monument protection projects;
- development of archaeological work programs and preparation of source data;
- monument protection work at archaeological heritage sites;
- scientific research of archaeological sites;
- conservation and restoration of archaeological finds;
- innovative projects in the field of protection and research of archaeological heritage;
- creation and maintenance of databases of archaeological sites;
- introduction of research results into scientific circulation and their popularization;
- educational activities on the preservation of cultural heritage;
- scientific cooperation with archaeological centers in Ukraine and abroad.

In 2010 and 2015, the Center successfully passed state certification as a research institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

In accordance with the laws of Ukraine “On the Protection of Cultural Heritage”, “On the Protection of Archaeological Heritage” and “On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Expertise”, the Center carries out specialized expert activities in the field of archaeology. The prepared conclusions and materials are sent for approval of land management projects, construction, reconstruction and major repairs of civil and industrial facilities.

With the support of the Rescue Archaeological Service, a number of monographs and collections of scientific works on archaeology have been prepared and published. The Center provides financial and organizational support for holding scientific conferences, exhibitions and other events aimed at preserving and popularizing the archaeological heritage of Ukraine.
