The main specialization of ”Snail” - activities to support the development and promotion of folk crafts and decorative arts in Western Ukraine.
Main achievements:
A center for the arts and crafts of Galicia (in collaboration with the Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), and in particular in the lobby of the museum of ethnography, known citizens and visitors of Art Salon ”Snail”.
With the support and the participation of ”Snail” published books ethnology nature, several monographs on Ukrainian artists.
Established and awarded the annual prize of ”Snail” for the best scientific results in the field of ethnology.
Firm ”Snail” actively promotes craftsmen and modern artists in Ukraine and abroad.
In 1995 the company was awarded the rights to show Western Ukrainian art at the International Exhibition of gift and souvenirs in Leipzig.
At the invitation of the Government of Krakow and Lviv city council at the request of the firm represented the artistic life in Krakow and Lviv 1997, 1998 and 1999.
In 1996 the firm ”Snail” traveling exhibition organized by boat along the route Kyiv-Kiev-Sevastopol-Odessa and vice versa.
Art Salon ”Snail”
”Snail” participated in numerous international exhibitions in Lviv, Kyiv, Mykolayiv. Firm ”Snail” is a regular supplier of art and souvenirs for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the President, the Cabinet, the Chief of the State Tax Administration, Ministry, ”Aval”, ”Eximbank” firms and organizations.
We aim to respond to both requests for elite highly artistic works, as well as a broad segment of consumers. Satisfying these needs, we are expanding significantly in the new year and increase our range of services. Such a wide range of offers are not, at present, no one.
So: decoration, interior elements, designs, different destination everyday articles made of ceramics, wood, metal, leather, glass, beads, weaving, embroidery ...

Firm ”Snail” is involved in the government’s program of restoration of historical and architectural environment of the city, completed repair work underground church of the Jesuits own funds for showrooms art gallery ”Snail”. As a result, a new sightseeing facilities in Lviv.
Among the most interesting items are displayed - the remains of stone walls still princely era murals (XVIII cent.) Baroque doors hand forged, carved stone sarcophagus (XVIII cent.) - And in general, the mysterious aura of the cellar of the church of the Jesuits .. .
Art Gallery
The first exhibition art gallery ”Snail” was created to support the artists of the city, which for many years collaborated with artistic interior ”Snail” at the Museum of Ethnography. For them, this exhibition is free: all the hassle and expense assumed Gallery.
One of the main components of the creed galleries both now and in the future - to represent entirely new, have never exhibited and unpublished works. We want it all the lovers and potential buyers know that the new work should contact the art gallery ”Snail”.
The exhibition, so you can see new works in a variety of materials, techniques and styles: Shevchenko Prize winner Jaroslav Hoes and recent graduate LAM Vladimir Stefankiva, graphical authoring techniques Olesya Feet and painting, drawing seven ”m Mohylativ.
