Khmelnytsky forestry was organized in 1992. The company includes four forestries - Khmelnytsky, Chervonozirske, Mykhailivske and Parkhomivske.
Forests of the state enterprise “Khmelnytsky Forestry” with a total area of 12964 ha, located in the central part of Khmelnytsky region in Khmelnytsky, Letychiv, Yarmolynets, Derazhnyansky and Vinkovetsky administrative districts and Khmelnytsky.
The activities of the forestry are aimed at qualitative improvement of the forest fund, increase of productivity of forest plantations and efficient use of forest resources. The main purpose of the enterprise is to grow highly productive, biologically resistant indigenous plantations of oak, ash and other valuable trees, reproduction and conservation of hunting fauna. Almost 50 hectares of forest crops are planted here annually on lands unsuitable for agricultural production.
