Company information
From ancient times, St. George’s Mountain, topped by a temple, defined the silhouette of the city. A masterpiece of Ukrainian baroque - the Cathedral of St. Yura - becomes a symbol of the unity of millennial culture and the spiritual Christian heritage of East and West.
St. George’s Cathedral is the main Greek Catholic cathedral of Lviv and the Lviv Archdiocese. Domestic and foreign pilgrims come here at all times of the year to honor the miraculous icon of the Mother of God, a copy of the Shroud of Turin, the relics of Saints Apostles Peter, Nicholas, Sharbel, Anthony of Padeva, Panteleimon the Healer, Valentin, Josaphat (Kantsevich), Mykola -the tomb of the hierarchs of the UGCC Sylvester (Sembratovich), Andrei (Sheptytsky), Joseph (Blind), Vladimir (Sternyuk) and Myroslav Ivan (Lyubachivsky).
