The operation and purpose of the Committee: - The promotion of fair and transparent elections and referenda, the enforcement of human rights; - Ensure the protection of human rights and promoting the rule of law, legality and transparency in the relations between man and authority; - Activization of citizens participation in local initiatives and strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations in solving social problems; - Development of local government, the promotion of openness, transparency and other practices of good governance in the activities of the authorities.

Rivne regional public organisation ”Committee of voters of Ukraine” is a regional non-governmental non-profit organization. Its activity on the territory of Rivne, the organization began in 1994. 18 March 1998 the organization was officially registered Rivne regional management of justice as a regional branch of Ukrainian public organization ”Committee of voters of Ukraine” - CVU. The organization is active and effective public institution, uniting different experts in the relevant areas affect state and local policy and is one of the leaders of civil society organizations in the region.
