Ukrainian Society of Appraisers was created as a professional association of specialists in the field of evaluation. Society by its status is public organization with regional and territorial divisions in twenty-three regions of Ukraine and Sevastopol. The first steps UTO began to develop and adopt ”standards of professional activity in Ukraine” and proactive actions to make the profession ”property appraiser” to the state classification of occupations. Experts of Ukrainian Society of Appraisers were the developers of educational programs for training in assessment and co-authors in the creation of the first valuation techniques. Another important activity of the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers and is a purposeful work on implementing an international assessment methodology.
