Steps of preparing a hookah:

  • 4 – take a bowl and fill it with tobacco. Usually 12-17 g of tobacco is enough for a smoke – this is 1-2 fifths of a standard pack of 50 g. Before you put the tobacco in the bowl, fluff it with a toothpick or just with your hands. Fill the bowl not to the very brim, but leave 0.5-0.7 mm to the edge so that in the future the tobacco does not come into contact with the foil or kalaud on the bowl and does not burn, giving bitter taste. Use a toothpick to make a well in the middle of the tobacco bowl. If you have a bowl like Fanel, then you don’t need to make a recess, because it already has it. After such procedures, the tobacco will warm up over the entire area, air will pass through it, and you will get a truly smoky and tasty hookah.
  • 5 – if you have a kaloud, then we put the coals, heated in advance to red, in it and put it on top of the bowl. If there is no kaloud, then we tightly cover the bowl with foil and with the same toothpick we make uniform holes on top with a step of 0.5 mm. Then we put hot coals on top.
  • We wait up to 7 minutes for the tobacco to warm up evenly and light the narghile.
