Kateryna Kovalishyn is a practicing psychologist with more than ten years of experience specializing in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. This direction is recognized as one of the most effective for solving a wide range of psychological problems, helping clients to realize and change destructive patterns of thinking and behavior.
The foundation of Kateryna’s professional education was laid at the Ukrainian Catholic University (Faculty of Philosophy and Theology) in 2005. Further deepening of knowledge took place at the UCU School of Psychological Counseling (2010-2012), which worked under the American-Ukrainian project, and at the Ukrainian Institute of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (2012-2014). In 2015, Kateryna graduated from Lviv National University with a specialization in psychology.
Psychological counseling is a unique process that promotes deep changes. According to the definition of the British Association of Consulting Psychologists, individual counseling is “a specific relationship between two people in which one person (the counselor) helps another person to help themselves.”
During meetings with psychologist Kateryna Kovalishin, relationships are built based on deep respect for human dignity, openness, honesty, cooperation and equality.
